If you enter a NEW Product Key the license will start straight away.  In the past we could contact Customer Support and most often they will add your remaining days to your new subscription.

If you enter a RENEWAL Key it should automatically add to your existing subscription.

i have had days remaining added to my subscription but generally it seems when you renew it just starts the year time

not sure if everyone gets the year only or the extra days remaining without contacting support
