Norton Utilities Premium - Re-Activate impossible

I hope I am not the only who is encountering this problem and I hope to have a fix of it soon.

I wanted to use Norton Utilities to help clear up my computer but it was not working. I have been spending two hours trying to make it work by looking at what anyone else had to offer to fix this recently. I added the activation key, it was not working. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program, it was not working. I did all of those options as well as restarting the computer, it still shows me this reactivation glitch. Everytime I click to reactivate, it always sends me to the Norton webpage. I would like a fix of this as soon as possible, please.

Hello. The only possibility of getting this activated would be through Norton Support. Once you have met all the requirements, the chatbot will begin. You can then type in "Agent Please" which will take you out of the chatbot and connected to a live agent.

That chatbot is useless.

3 or 4 times a year, I have to deal with this Norton Utilities failure to update and re-activate.

I uninstall it. Multiple times. I re-download it, multiple times, I re-install it, multiple times. Then it tells me the very same activation key it tells me to copy, is invalid, and I get redirected to download it all over again.

In all my years of using Norton products, Norton Utilities is the most disappointing one, because of having to go thru this update/reinstall/reactivation process multiple times a year.

My subscription is still valid thru Feb 2024, and I'm on the verge of wondering, "why am I putting up with this hassle anymore?"

Did you type in "Agent Please" as suggested to get out of the chatbot and connected to live person?

Ii typed "Agent Please" and the responses from the chatbot was "Sorry, what was that?", "Sorry, can you say that again?", "I missed that, say that again?", "One more time?", "What was that?" and "Sorry, could you say that again?". What is the solution to get our Norton Utilities Premium reactivated after renewal?? Thank you.

Unfortunately the solution is support. No one here on the forums has access to the activation services or servers.

My Premium was activated through 2050 but now it says expired.

Everyone, please review the following article from Norton. NU Premium was an "extra" at one time if you had and kept auto-renew enabled on your subscription. Norton has since done away with that freebie for reasons only they can explain. As painful as the support chat issues are that is the only way to re-activate the Premium product.

Same problem and I have today put on a separate post about this on this forum.  This facility should have been available until 2050 (presumably only if I renew my 360 subscription). It was showing 2050 last time I used it - last week I think.  I now appear to understand that no matter what I do this once useful little programme is no longer available. No prior warning. No notice.  No nothing.  That is customer service at its very worse. Even more annoying is my subscription has just been renewed. Is it now worth it?

I've just wasted several hours of my life attempting to reactivate this programme - a time in my life that I will not get back. The stupid programme even keeps telling me it has reactivated properly and ready to go.  When I do run it - all that happens is it takes me back to telling me that I must reactivate.

Just what kind of silly game is Norton playing?

Businesses really should NOT piss off their customers.  I am more than pissed off.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

..............and I genuinely believed that Norton Utilities Premium is (was?) included as part of my Norton 360 subscription.

The more I think about it, the more I suspect this falls short of the required Trading Standards - false pretences.

.........thinking about this even more:-

I always assumed Utilities Premium was included as part of my Norton 360 contract. It stated that Premium would expire in 2050 although I would accept that is subject to my renewing Norton 360.  

Suddenly removing this facility without any notice AND just after I renewed Norton 360 would appear to me as being in breach of contract.

As you can gather - I am getting more and more ANNOYED
