We are trying to set up a brand new Dell XPS 8950 computer running Microsoft Windows 11.
We purchased a subscription to Norton 360 Premium v 18.104.22.168 and are trying to install it.
The Downloader deposits the application files into our Downloads folder, and then it starts to Install.
However, at the very same time it starts to run an Uninstall in another window. The two operations are in conflict and we can’t seem to cancel either one.
My husband has been on hold for over 30 min with “Norton Support.” No help there!
I wish I could send screenshots, but we haven’t got the machine set up to a point where I can find where the Snip Tool is.
Any ideas about what is going on here?
