Norton says my subscription has expired when it hasn't

I got an email this morning (062423) stating my subscription to Norton 360 has expired and I am unprotected. My Norton account says my subscription expires 062024.  Are their systems that bad that they can't tell when an account is active?

First check that the senders email address is included in this information.  Is this email from Norton legitimate?  If not it is a scam and just delete it.

If the email is legitimate, did you recently renew your subscription with a new product key? If so, the email is warning that the old subscription has expired. You cannot stop these warnings, but they should stop after 3 or 4 weeks.
