Norton Security - Internal Error. We were unable to verify your subscription...

Running Internet Security Premuim (10 devices) on 8 Windows pc's and all ok until today. On one of my pc's I received Internal Error message " We were unable to verify your subscription duew to an internal error. Contact Support for assistance". I clicked the yellow Contact Support button and auto fix started running. Said we did not find any problems but still not resolved. Every time I restart the pc I get the same message and the same result after pressing the contact support button.

Tried shutdown and reboot and Norton showed up with green tick in bottom tray but when i opened it I couldnt see sign in button and said inactive subscription when tried to run updates. Internal error message again and clicked Contact Support - Scan complete with green tick and message that we were able to detect and fix many problems.....

All others running fine with no issues.

Advice on easy fix would be greatly appreciated.

I wondered if I would have to go down this route. Presumably I will not lose one of my spare subscriptions - currently using 8 of 10. The PC with the problem appears on list of devices at the moment. Presumably the remove and reinstall tool sorts things out automatically re installed devices list.

installs/reinstalls on same device do not use "spare subscriptions"

Pleased to report that the tool worked and still have 2 free licences (using 8 of 10 as before). It took a while to complete as running on old pc with HDD that I use for back up purposes and internet connection also dropped during the authentication part of the process. Worked though after re-establishing connection and clicking retry. I had to uninstall Malwarebytes (which I have on all my PC's) as compatability sequence of the tool flagged that it needed to be unistalled; have subsequently reinstalled Malwarebytes and all seems fine.
