Put "Phishing Protection" Task back in.  This is a Critical Update and don't know the reason why this was taken out.

Hi Floating_Red. Can you clarify what you mean by put "Phishing Protection" task back in? Are you looking for a specific setting? In 2010, we rolled the option for anti-phishing and Safe Web into "Safe Surfing". You can also see this in "settings".

Hello, dnadir,

I meant put it back in as a Background Task; does this help?

We did not have a background task named "phishing protection" can you please be more specific? what was the exact background task name? Did you see it in "Norton Tasks"?

Re: Put "Phishing Protection" Task back in

Yes you did.  It was in the Norton 2009 Products, but for some reason, was not in Norton 2010 Products - and it was in the Background Jobs.

ALthought, it might have been named something like Anti-Phishing Updates; let me look in to it.

Hi,Floating Red

I saw what you mean. That feature was in Norton 360. (Anti-Phishing Update)
