Link your Apple ID or Google email with your existing Norton account

You can now sign in to Norton with your Apple ID or Google email. All you need is to link your Apple ID or Google email with your existing account. You can link one Apple ID and one Google email with your Norton account. Once the account is linked, you can sign in using your Apple ID or Google email the next time you log in. If you prefer not to use this option, you can continue signing in to your account with your Norton credentials.

If you do not have a Norton account, you can also create one using your Apple ID or Google email. For more information, read Create a Norton account.



Link your Apple ID with your existing Norton account

1.     Go to my.Norton.com

2.     Click Do you want to try our new Sign in?

3.     Click Continue with Apple.

4.     Enter your Apple ID that you want to link.

5.     If prompted, enter your Apple ID password and the two-factor authentication code that you received.

6.     If prompted, click Trust to avoid entering two-factor codes again on this browser unless you sign out completely or change your password.

7.     Click Continue.

8.     Do one of the following:

o   Click Share My Email to show your Apple ID email address on your account.

o   Click Hide My Email to hide your Apple ID email address and display a unique, random address instead on your account.

9.     Click Continue.

10. Do one of the following:

o   If the Apple ID is also the email associated with Norton, then click Continue.

o   If you want to link the Apple ID with another Norton account:

o   Click Link a different NortonLifeLock account.

o   Enter the Norton account email address that you want to link.

o   If you have enabled two-fact authentication on your Norton account, enter the code that you received. Else, check your email for the verification code.

11. Your Norton account is now linked with your Apple ID. Click Done to return to your accounts page.
 



Link your Google email with your existing Norton account

1.     Go to my.Norton.com

2.     Click Do you want to try our new Sign in?

3.     Click Continue with Google.

4.     Sign in to your Google account. If you have multiple Google accounts, choose the Google account that you want to link.

5.     Do one of the following:

o   If the Google email that you chose is also the email associated with Norton, then click Continue.

o   If you want to link the Google email with another Norton account, do the following:

o   Click Link a different NortonLifeLock account.

o   Enter the Norton account email address that you want to link.

o   If you have enabled two-fact authentication on your Norton account, enter the code that you received. Else, check your email for the verification code.

6.     Read the Global Privacy Statement and then click Continue.

7.     Your Norton account is now linked with your Google email. Click Done to return to your accounts page.

In case you no longer wish to use your Apple ID or Google email with Norton, you can unlink it at any time. After unlinking your Apple ID or Google email, you will still be able to login to Norton using your email address/username and password.

Unlink your Apple ID

1.     Sign in to your account.

2.     Under Linked Accounts section, next to the account that you want to remove, click Unlink.

3.     In the confirmation screen, click Unlink.

4.     If you created an account using your Apple ID, you should update your account before you unlink it. Do the following:

o   If you have shared your email address while creating the account, set a new password for your account.

o   If you have hidden your email address while creating the account, enter a new email address and password for your account.
 



Unlink your Google email

1.     Sign in to your account.

2.     Under Linked Accounts section, next to the account that you want to remove, click Unlink.

3.     In the confirmation screen, click Unlink.

4.     If you created an account using your Google email, you should set a new password for your account before you unlink it.

Note: New sign-in method is being released in a phased manner and is available only for some accounts.
