Norton Family 3.7.2 update for Windows has been released

[Updated on 10th December]  Norton Family 3.7.2 has now been released for Windows customers.

The changes in this build include: 

  • Minor bug fixes
  • Performance enhancements

Note: This is a phased release.

We are releasing Norton Family 3.7.1 update for Windows.

1. What is the version number for this update?

   Norton Family 3.7.1 for Windows

2. How can I receive this update?

    If your device is connected to the Internet, Norton Family checks for updates at regular intervals and can automatically update to the latest version. But if your device is not connected to the Internet for a long time or if you had automatic-update issues, use the "Update Norton Family to the latest version instructions to manually update Norton Family.

Note: A system reboot may be required to apply this update. 

3What's new in Build 3.7.1? 

Product enhancements:

  1. PII details are hidden on Block page and toaster
  2. Parents can view activity logs when a whitelisted website is visited
  3. Edge Alert while Edge is in suspended state in Windows 10 is suppressed
  4. Only one alert (‘Service Not Running') per day is sent to parents while the client service is not running
  5. Telemetry Enhancements
  6. Other enhancements

Issue fixes/changes:

  1. Time Monitoring Crash issue has been fixed
  2. An issue where Facebook was not getting blocked on Internet Explorer has been fixed
  3. An issue has been corrected to display toasters and UI's only to the accounts that are being monitored
  4. SymQual Crash issue has been fixed
