Child account is domain controlled

Hi! My child account is domain account (Windows Server 2012 R2) and NF periodically loss this account from control.

To fix it i need to login into my NF and re-add my child profile to controlled ones on my computer (Win10).

But some time later child account is not controlled by NF again!

Same on win7 64 before upgrade to Win10.

Please help to fix it!

Re: Child account is domain controlled

Hi

There are few possibilities by which this problem might occur.

  • It could be possible that there will be some conflicts in rules on the server(Windows Server 2012 R2).
  • If NF requests are rejected by the firewall rules set in the server.

Please check whether any server settings are affecting this.  Also white list "Norton.com" websites in your server settings and try again.

Generally we don't recommend using NF with domain user account.  Could you please try creating a Standard Account (not a domain account) on the same machine and try monitoring with NF.
