Error 503 First Byte Timeout

I've had multiple Error 503 first byte timeout errors while trying to post in the forum today.  I reported a similar problem back in January 2017 in my thread Error 503 First Byte Timeout When Inserting Images but this time the problem occurs almost every time I try to submit or edit a reply, even if I do not use the IMCE to insert an image.

I assume the root cause of this error is different from the Error 503 backend fetch failed described in SoulAsylum's thread Forums "back end" HTTP 503 error since Forum Administrator Kevin posted <here> that the backend fetch problem was fixed on 17-May-2017.

Checking up on this one - is this still seen? It might have been around during other server issues that were resolved. Please let me know if you're still seeing this issue.

Looks like pretty much the same issue has presented itself once again. Varnish Server settings out of whack as in the original issue in the other thread. I believe a service provider was having an issue. Hope this gets resolved as quick as the last.

Kevin, I haven't seen it reappear recently.

I haven't seen this Error 503 First Byte Timeout in over a week now.  I'll mark the thread as solved and will report back if the problem re-appears.
