Will we need to reset our modem & the core every day ? The unit is cute but way too small for me to get my hands in to pull out the wires every few hours.

Since getting the Core I have also had to restart ours a couple of times a week. I believe that the DNS issue and the Internet not working issue have both been acknowledged by Norton and they are working on it. I agree with you though, this is frustrating. I hope that Norton would be willing to provide early adopters more free service time with this router to stick with it.
Folks. Understanding your frustration we can only direct you to support. There is and continues to be a DNS issue that no one here on the forums can fix. I don't want to pile on here, but in addition to these reports, I also have the problem where both my iPad and iPhone say they are connected to the Core wifi network, however wifi no longer works on them and I have to turn off wifi and go to cellular on the devices to get to anything on the internet ... and I can't access Core with them any longer with the Core app. This started happening about a week ago!
So the only choice I have is to unplug the Core, or press the RESET button. After doing that, wifi works for some period of time on these devices (usually less than a day), but then the problem occurs again and I have to repeat the RESET.
SoulAsylum indicates Norton acknowledges they have a DNS problem and they continue to work to correct it.
I'm curious if anyone has tried disabling Norton DNS and switching back to their ISP's DNS; and if so, did that solve any of your problems?
All: There are several other threads concerning Core AND its DNS issues. My suggestion is as on the other threads is change your DNS setting to ISP. Core should automatically detect those values for you and restart.
I would gladly switch to my ISP's DNS, but I can't open up the App with WiFi turned off now. I have had this issue since last night.. Don't know if it has anything to do with the Monster Storm that is going on here.

floplot have you attempted to access the app with your cellular data or Bluetooth?
I had the same problem last night. I'm always logged in to my Core app and last night it logged me out and I couldn't log back be. Since all my devices had internet I just let it be. I was able to log in to the app this morning without doing anything. I'm using the Norton Secure DNS so I don't that was the cause. Did you reset the Core by any chance? Is the white light blinking?
Bluetooth is always on. WiFi is turned off. Phone says it can't find the Core. I have been getting emails with my cell phone, so I guess it has some internet access. A large branch came down on our back door steps. Super just moved it to the grass area.. The Core has a Solid White ring. I can't reach the Core either.
Turn wifi on the phone to ON and Bluetooth off, try again. Otherwise you have to power cycle the Core.
I'm having the same issues!!!!! :( Amazon Echo not connected to the internet. Constantly have to unplug CORE and resetting it!!! When is this going to be resolved???????????????????????????
All: Core firmware has updated to version 226, have any of you seen a positive change to your issues?
