Previously in your Network

Hello

I think this issue is still waiting for a Solution. Devices previously in your Network. I have some old devices which used to be in my network which are no longer in my apt. One is my old wireless printer which still shows it having Norton installed in it. My current printer shows Norton Security is installed in it. These old devices had disappeared after 30 days and were gone for a short while like they should be. But they came back even though they are no longer here. They are not listed in MyNorton. There are 3 devices like that. They have been back for months now.

This is something that Symantec needs to fix again.

Another change I have observed. For the time setting, we used to have the 4 USA Time Zones. I had a look at that the other day. I used to set it for Eastern Time Zone and it was all set. When I looked at it the other day, I was shocked to find the time zones for every location in the world??? Why would the Core need to be set for all these locations since the Core is only sold in the USA. Even if it went Global, I don't think it would be used in all of those locations.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.

Re: Previously in your Network

Floplot, Core now has support for New Zealand and Australia. Thus the time zone additions (partially). As far as the "previously on your network" device issue that was never corrected, up to the app release to version 1.83 for Android at least. There are also no release notes to support that is was since the last release note posting was for version 1.80 on both iOS and Android. I corrected my issue with a factory reset, removed Core from my account and NOT allowing the Core data in the cloud to repopulate. Devices still remain after the 30 day period and there still isn't a manual way to remove them without removing other settings as a whole. One swipe to remove a device is a fairly straight forward solution. Yet the team is focused on Alexa for whatever reason vice correcting known issues.

Cheers
