What device and OS version are you using?
What browser are you using to access those test pages?
Wicar test files are for Windows/DOS systems and any code written for Windows will not run on Android anyway. This could explain why no detection. None necessary.
You can test using AMTSO tests listed at the link in my post here.
I'll check with my Norton contacts. I'll let you know when I get any news.
Do you remember what specific tests were detected? What other products/apps detected those pages?
My contact is passing this along to the appropriate team.
I have been told by my contacts that they are submitting the wicar test site so it will be detected by Norton.
If you can test again and let us know if they are now detected by Norton.
Is the main wicar.org page flagged as dangerous?
After I was advised that the site should now be blocked, I tried the site on my Samsung Tab A on Android 8.1.1 using Chrome browser and the wicar home page showed a block. I tapped to continue to the site anyway and then each of the test pages showed a block of a dangerous page. Note that once you allow access to a blocked page, NMS puts it in a whitelist, and it will no longer be blocked.
Can you run a manual LiveUpdate in your NMS app and then test the wicar site again?
Good news. Thanks for posting back.
I have one suggestion, please add Brave browser is supported browser by the web protection!
We can never say never But the resources required to support an individual browser that has a very small market share often do not make good business sense. 10 million downloads for Brave sounds like a lot, but vs 1 Billion for Chrome..... That is why only the very top tier browsers are supported in Norton. The same goes for the PC browser protections.
This might be a good suggestion for the Product Suggestions board https://community.norton.com/forums/product-suggestions
