How long does Norton VPN stay activated?

On several occasions after engaging my Norton Secure VPN, I have come back to see it is no longer active. I did not turn it off and no power failures. Is there a time limit on how long it stays activated?

It can disconnect at any time for many different reasons. You most likely cannot do anything yourself so stay aware of it's status.

Thanks for your input. I spent the afternoon with Norton Support, they remotely accessed my computer but had no answers. I'll take your advice!
