Cloud Backup Setups?

I have setup under cloud backup a manual backup, my big issue with this is that I cannot specify a specific folder on my hard drive to direct the backup to?.  This option should & must be made available to users. The only workaround is to copy the files created by the backup to the folder I want them to reside in.

Re: Cloud Backup Setups?

Unless you are trying to back up to a physically different drive from the one where you have your original files you want to protect, it is not wise to backup to your hard drive. If the drive dies, you have no backup.

I am backing up to a different physical drive, but cloud backup does not provide the basic function of choosing a folder to store the backup.

@bill chasen
FWIW ~ as test:
created "Test Test Test" Folder on my desktop > copy paste  empty "Test Test Test" Folder to my external drive Seagate (G:) >
Include "Test Test Test" Folder
added Files to "Test Test Test" Folder

"Test Test Test" Folder context menu > Norton 360 > Add to Backup "Test Test Test" > Run Backup

FWIW ~ as test: created "Test Test Test Restore" Folder

as always, your mileage may vary
