Permissions Have Been Turned Off

I get this message regarding my child's device at least once per day.  However, it is unclear what exactly triggers this message and what to do about it.  Please explain what this message means, what triggers it and how it can be disabled.

Permissions Have Been Turned Off

Several app permissions were recently turned off on <child's name>'s device, <device name>. These must be enabled for child supervision to work properly.
