VPN shows up in the left top corner of the screen when opened on my Mac

I have an iMac running the most recent version of the OS (Monterey 12.1) and the latest version of Norton Secure VPN for Max.  For the past several weeks, VPN shows up in the left top corner of the screen when opened, but mostly off screen.  There is no place on the part I can view that lets me drag it over to where it should be.  I have removed and then reinstalled VPN.  Same result.  of course this make VPN unusable.

mine was in the left corner for a while and now a blank norton square stays in the middle of my mac screen.  only way to remove it is to quit the vpn.  have had 2 screen share sessions with norton help and no answers.  removing and reinstalling works until you reboot......
