How do I stop Norton to sending me emails about no activity???

It's crazy how there are no way to stop this email.

I feel like I ended up making the App not to send me any notification at all, but I still get tones of emails about how one of my monitored device didn't have any activities.

I have 8 years old son and he doesn't use PC or tablet everyday and sometimes goes almost week or months without using at all.

But Norton decided to keep sending email about no activities.

I went into the app and somehow did bunch of stuff which I can't remember how I go back again to the same menu but now if he request time to be extended, it only comes thru the email only. This is fine but at least please show me how to get rid of sending an email about no activities....

Re: How do I stop Norton to sending me emails about no activity???

Hi  @Bbmaniac,

Thanks for reaching to Norton Family forum!

We do not have provision to turn off inactive device emails. These notifications are kept to help parents detect any inactivity due to tampering on child's device. Please use this help link to remove devices which no longer needs monitoring.

Please use this help article to re-enable the push notifications.

Thanks,

Well you guys need to go and talk to the whoever made this decision.

If this is the case then you need to give parent a option to either disable or at least option to change the length of inactive.

Its not matter of removing the device to stop the message, some parents like me have a child who doesn't go on PC everyday. Sometimes my child can go without using PC for a month.

Your notification email was spamming everyday.

Feel like I made wrong choice....
