Disney+ flagged with unusual behaviour

Hi, I just had Norton 360 flag the Disney+ app with "Unusual Behavior". I'd be very interested in learning why but there doesn't appear to be any way to get more detail. I understand that it may be very technical, but nonetheless it would be better, in my opinion, to tell your users why something was flagged. As it stands I have no idea why it was flagged. In this particular case I'm not too concerned as I trust Disney isn't deliberately doing anything malicious, but if there is a bug that causes a security concern that Norton is somehow able to detect I'd want to know. Please can you advise if there is a way to get more detail from this alert. Thank you!

Re: Disney+ flagged with unusual behaviour

If you are seeing this in the 360 app under App Security > App Advisor section, you should be able to tap on the app and see a description of the behaviour.

I just installed the app and it shows the Unusual Behaviour to be "PUA.  This Potentially Unwanted Apppliction (PUA) may affect your device's security, performance or behaviour."

You can report false positive indications here   https://submit.norton.com/?type=FP

Thanks for responding. I did indeed see that PUA message, but that provides neither detail nor reason for being flagged. It's so general that in my opinion it adds little to no value to the alert itself. I was rather hoping for more than that, specifically something I could use to make an informed decision.

Re: Disney+ flagged with unusual behaviour

A PUA is not dangerous. They are usually add ons or apps that provide a feature that some people may want to enhance their online experience. Others may find the features annoying. The App Advisor notification just lets you know about a PUA so you can make a decision whether or not to keep that app.

I have submitted a false positive report to Norton. I'll post back when I hear anything.
