Locked out of Password Manager Vault

Hi, I wanted to change my Password Manager vault password after I had completely updated all the stored passwords. I managed to create a new vault password that was accepted, but when I came to use it, it wasn't recognized. So, I've now got a vault that actually does work, accurately signing in to everything so far, but I can't sign in to the vault as it doesn't recognize either my new password or the old one.  Any suggestions as to how to solve this? Thanks

What error are you getting? Try signing out of the Vault and sign in again, first with you Norton user name/email address, after that with the vault Password. Let me know if it works!

I know this is a waste of my time.  I never seem to get any help from the so-called help sites.  I have been unable to access my Norton Password Vault for 2 days now.  I click on the icon and get nothing.  I right click on the icon and get no options to get to Password Manager.  I tried to go to the Norton site and got a make-shift help site that is of no help.  I tried to access it on my phone to see if I could sync the two, to no avail.

Curious, what browser - version?  what operating system - version / build?

I finally figured out how to get to the Password Manager Vault.  It was basically an accident.  I'm not sure how I got there.  I am using Edge in Windows 11.

Same here. The purpose of the Vault is to safely store account information and the passwords associated with the accounts. It is of no value if we are unable to access it. It can no longer be accessed off-line, which is an inconvenience and no little concern. It is infuriating to go on-line to access needed information and be told it is not available. In-access to stored passwords is now a chronic problem which is inexcusable.

We have ten licenses and have been with Norton for over 22 years, but if Norton cannot resolve this issue soon we will cancel Norton and go somewhere else. Norton is also becoming more invasive with near constant pop-ups appearing on the home screen and other incursions. This past year it appears more and more that "the old grey mare ain't what she used to be."

Browser is Firefox, latest version on Windows 10 PC. However, we have multiple computers (all Windows laptop or desktop) and this will happen on any one of them. Others have complained of this in these blogs. Norton has blamed Windows but suspect it is a Norton end problem.

Maybe, Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection.

What to do if a site seems broken
If a site seems broken, try turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection. It allows trackers to load on that site only. Enhanced Tracking Protection will continue to block trackers on other sites.

Do you run Norton Secure VPN on?  Yes? = try Norton Password Manager access with VPN off.

btw ~ Norton Password Manager 7.5.2.62 access is okay, for me, from Firefox 102.0.
