I am not alone I see many others are at the mercy of what ever Microsoft wants to unload on to your computer. I have Norton on my computer to prevent unwanted aps and programs from being installed without my consent. Microsoft disabled Norton Notifications and I had no warning. So now I have to ask myself what good is having Norton if they can not stop this from happening?

Norton 360...Norton "Intrusion Prevention Notification" turned off. Normally when ever any program is attempting to make any changes on my computer. Norton will tell me what program is trying to make changes to my computer and will give me the option to accept or deny the changes. There were NO NOTIFICATIONS when Spotify was installed on my computer.

Not only did Spotify install itself, but simultaneously Norton Live Update cannot scan, all Norton features give an error message that I have no internet connection when obviously I do. So my Norton has informed me that it is unable to protect my computer without the update but will not connect itself to the internet to do so. I tried asking Norton Help and that too tells me no internet. This is very bad.
