migration from BullGuard to Norton

Only one of my PCs has been migrated over to Norton, so much for continued protection. I have 3 PCs in total which were covered by my subscription with BullGuard so why has only 1 been migrated? I'm not finding any answers anywhere and I don't find Norton very user friendly. Any help would be welcome.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

If your first PC got the migration automatically, it may only be a matter of time when the others also get the migration. It probably will depend on how many devices are sent the upgrade at a given time. They may be throttling the upgrade as they watch the telemetry to ensure there is no problem with the product being sent.

That's all very well but sending me Norton for Gamers is just the biggest laugh I've had all year. Seriously considering ditching it and asking for a refund. I've spoken to my son who is a computer science grad and works for a web company he has given me some recommendations.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

Hello Wotten. Was your Bullguard subscription also for 3 devices? Did your migration email message also reflect that 3 devices were being supported going over to Norton? On the one computer which has migrated, did it require removal of Bullguard, a restart then downloading your Norton product?

Edited: I might add that at this point and time we aren't seeing anything posted in open forums or privately regarding the Bullguard migration. We WILL assist to the fullest of our ability neverthless.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

Bullguard subscription for 3 devices.

I did nothing about the migration, Norton removed Bullguard and installed Norton Gamer. The other 2 devices, PCs, have not had Norton put on them, though I can probably do this myself, however since I don't want Norton Gamer as this is not the product I was told I'd receive I'm not going to put it on my other PCs.

I think I may have accidently deleted the most recent email from Norton as I can't find it at all.

I'm looking to go for a refund of what is left of my subscription and go with  different software as I'm not satisfied with Norton's handling of the so called trouble free migration.

I hate hearing that things are so mucked up and have attempted to assist with as much knowledge as possible. Unfortunately we Guru's do not have any official information as of yet to better assist customers. I'm hoping that changes sooner than later and unfortunately won't solve your issues. If you have not done so recently, contact support again and attempt to straighten out the issues.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

Thank you for trying to help.

I can't get past the bot on the support page and I've had no reply when message sent on facebook. I can't do the refund as they want an order number which I obviously don't have as mine relates to BullGuard and not Norton. I have managed to cancel the automatic subscription renewal.

To get past the bot, as soon as you can enter information, enter 'agent please'. That should get you out of the bot and connected to a human.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

After Bullguard migrated to Norton on my computer my Norton Account showed that I had "Norton GO Deluxe" installed. (As I had been informed it would be in the run up to the migration).

However the App on my PC showed as "Norton 360 for Games".

I managed to get through to an agent on the Norton Chat and was advised :

<<"Yes, it is because you got your subscriptions transferred to Norton and with that you got the interface of Norton 360 Gamers but do not worry you have all the features and even upgraded with Norton GO Deluxe.

Norton GO Deluxe stands for Norton Gamers Online Deluxe.">>

Hope this info may help someone.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

That sounds like what we are seeing here.  @Wotton per your migration e-mail what Norton product was offered? As the post shows, above there seems to be some "terminology" issues regarding Go and what product that actually is.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

I was offered Go.

The app on the PC says  Norton for Gamers. On my subscription page it says Norton Go deluxe.

Re: migration from BullGuard to Norton

Norton GO Deluxe and its naming seems to be the issue with things. I cannot find anything that would separate GO from N360 for Gamers. This Norton website doesn't list GO specifically so it would appear that Norton for Gamers is actually the product you were offered.
