New update. My wife has a Mac and she can connect to the US vpn and all regions fine on her computer using the same wifi. Whereas my Windows Surface Pro can't connect to these regions, but I can connect to all the other regions. Can someone from Norton please reply with a reason or better yet, a solution? I've already tried all the suggestion for uninstall/reinstall.

Same here from UK. All regions OK except for USA. This is with Norton 360 on my PC with Windows 11
I'm also using Norton 360 Mobile on my Android phone and that connects via USA with no problem.

Having the same issue connecting the VPN to the UK, Australia, Canada. Oddly, no problem with New Zealand. I am a Windows 10 user.

Does Norton even monitor these comments and try to help with a solution?
No!
What are we paying for, just to get no response or help?

Seems an awful lot with the same problem.
Strange it is only via wifi, not the phones, and only the 5 eyes countries!
Who is looking into this?

I started experiencing this issue on 6 December and tried all the troubleshooting tips I could find online. I called Norton Support on 12 December and an agent spent at least an hour trying to troubleshoot the problem (no solution was found). This morning I noticed that "auto-select region" is offered as a Secure VPN option. I selected it (via VPN Region) and my Secure VPN access is working again. I am a Windows 10 user on a laptop in one of the countries listed in the title of this thread. Thank you for initiating this thread.

Not only WiFi... My PC is directly connected (ethernet) to my router & NBN Fibre To The Home modem (I'm in Australia). No WiFi Involved.
I cannot connect and keep getting the error pop-up.
"Attention required
Secure VPN has experienced an error and disconnected. Please try again later"
But it never connects at all.
I don't have a problem with my phone app connecting to VPN either.
This has only started happening in the last week or so, for me.

Okay. After over a week, it has started working correctly. I can connect with every location I have checked (haven't checked ALL of them!).
I tried just a couple of hours ago, when I made the last post and was NOT working at that time.
Fingers crossed it is fixed..somehow... and will stay fixed.

Got help from a tech, and he tells me they are "working on the problem".
Told me to switch to another country, he put it to NZ and I could use - also try Auto connect, it picks Australia for me.
I went through the countries available, and there were many I could not connect to yesterday.
US - UK- JAPAN- AUSTRALIA- GERMANY- FRANCE- BRAZIL AND CANADA
Seems a strange assortment to me
