43 botnet notifications for 52.85.117.25 all on my Samsung S6 phone

Is it common to have large numbers of notifications for a site? Also, it seems like the Core would block this site after the first notification. All notifications were in a 11 hour period within the last day. I'm sure there is a good reason it does not, but please enlighten me.

I'm running Norton, and Malwarebytes on demand only, on the phone.

Re: 43 botnet notifications for 52.85.117.25 all on my Samsung S6 phone

Hello

I have seen a site get hit by the same IP like 10 times in a couple of minutes while using my computer. I had absolutely no notice on my computer that I must have been sitting on s  website. I found out about it when I hit the bell and noticed the listing.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.

Re: 43 botnet notifications for 52.85.117.25 all on my Samsung S6 phone

All: ALL our mobiles and one PC are seeing a Botnet at 52.85.88.224 / 52.85.88.36 the past week or so. Off and on. Core is detecting and blocking as it should. Since these are detected as "malicious outbound traffic" due to website traffic, AND Core is blocking them there is nothing to worry about. One other thing of note is that Android itself has a HUGE CERT CVE vulnerability hit list. The most current hit list is here.

Cheers
