Got new laptop, not used to keys sensitivity & I deleted Norton icon quite by accident.
How do I restore the Icon to my desktop?
Hello Cindy. I'm assuming you have Windows 10 on the new machine so, click your start button if you are on the old style desktop. You should get the Windows 10 "tiled" desktop to appear. Up near the top LEFT side there is an icon that looks like three underscores, if you hover your mouse cursor on it you should be able to read "all apps". Click this, an iconic list of all your installed programs should appear. Find Norton Security and click to open it. There should be an icon there named Norton, RIGHT MOUSE click it and a small menu will appear. Click on "more", then open file location. When the next window appears find Norton Security on the right. Once again right mouse click, find the word "more" and in the side menu select "send to" desktop (create shortcut). Hope this helps.
Yes, this solution worked, Thank You!!! :)
You are very welcome.
Also you can go to program files -> Norton -> Find Norton.EXE file -> Lefr mouse click "Creat a shortcut". Copy and paste on dektop :)
