Account locked due to too many failed log-in attempts?

Been getting this error since last night, figured it might be a server issue and went to bed. Still doing it today. I am able to sign into the Identity Safe website no problem, and I even removed N360 using the software removal tool and reinstalled it. Still no dice. How can fix this issue?

Interesting, it's marked as solved although it's still happening for a lot people.

Just tried it again and now it's telling me that my password is incorrect, even though I can sign into the website with the same password just fine. Argh!

This is on Windows 8.1 x64 btw...

All I can say is, please be patient.

BTW, the one person (OP) who said the problem was resolved had reinstalled not only Norton but Win 8.1 as well!

Heh yeah I saw that. Actually I just installed Windows 8.1 the other day. Not an option. :-) Plus, not fully convinced that would actually fix it, seems like this might be more of a server issue or something.

So it was finally fixed for me. I noticed in that other thread that Tony offered assistance by contacting him, which I did last night, so that might have been it. Not sure though since he has not responded in any way. Regardless, if anyone else has this problem, it's worth a shot at contacting him.
