Adding A subscription for NSP for 5 devices to a current subscription

I purchased and activated a subscription for NSP with Backup for 3 devices. Can I add a subscription for NSP with Backup for 5 devices?  AS I have 2 pcs, 2 tablets & one phone. If so, do I manage all devices and licences from this computer, which is my main device?

Thanks In Advance

Hi, sheepdog. You can purchase a subscription for 5 devices and ask Support to add the previous sub's remaining days to your new subscription.          http://norton.com/chat

Yes, you can mange all your devices/subscription from your main device.

Well my subscription for 5 devices gave me 366 days on a tablet & my phone. My 2 pcs & other tablet were not eligible for extra days on their subscriptions. Go figure, I think it is a rip off.

Hi, sheepdog. I'll ask one of the Admins to see if a fix can be achieved. It may take a day or two as it's the weekend.

It appears that the gentleman I spoke to re above problem was in India (no problem). Had no idea what I was I was talking about. I thanked him and rang in Oz 1800921376. They wanted to take control of my pc and charge me $299 US dollars to correct problem .. ....... SCAM????? Gave my card details and first thing was he deleted 4100 files from pc. Coudn't restart and had to go into Shift + restart to get to boot. They had totally stuffed MBR. What this lot have done is hijack phone number 1800 921 376 to 02 8091 376 (aussie number). I only worked it out after Eric was talking to me and had taken control of my pc that I rang 02 8091 376 on my mobile and another character answered  the phone from a different location. It has cost me $150 aus dollars. Why don't Norton know this is happening in Australia???????????? I have tried to cancel cost on my card, However, I think I have fallen foul of profiteers. Norton Support does not charge a fee for helping.

Did you use the link for Norton Support F 4 E gave in the post above?  It sounds like you did a Google search for Norton support and used one of the first listings that come up. Those are almost always NOT genuine Norton, but computer support companies that will give service for Norton products, for a fee. There is nothing Norton can do to stop these companies, and it is not just in Australia.

Your action to try to cancel the charges on your card is the right way to go at this point.

@peterweb

No I didn't use Google. I have reported this incident to "Scamwatch" and the info regarding how phone line is diverted, I still paid almost $150 aus dollars

Where did you find the link or phone number you used? Official Norton Support would not get redirected, and they would not charge for support.

Hello @sheepdog,

I've sent you a Private Mail to follow-up and see how we can help get the subscription aspect of the issue resolved.

Thanks,

Matt
