Adding wife without having to create a new account

I think that OnlineFamily holds much promise but, at the moment, it is not very user friendly.  Too many  hoops to jump through.  I have created an account and have all the kids added on.   I invited my wife... she then has to create her own account and re-enter all of the information (essentially repeat all the work that I did).  Why can she not simply use my email address and password?  Furthermore, the email address feature does not allow one to enter the entire email address.

Re: Adding wife without having to create a new account

Hi curlin_canuck,

Thanks for your input.  You brought up a good question in terms of who should use the “Invite Parent” function. If I understand you correctly, in your case, if you want your wife to use the same email address and password as you do, you don’t need to invite her to join  the program and she can just simply log onto the Onlinefamily.norton Web site using your email address and password to monitor the kid’s activities.  For the parents who use different email address or inviting another adult to monitor the kid’s online activities, the “Invite Parent” function is more useful for them.

For your notes, “ the email address feature does not allow one to enter the entire email address”  Could you tell us the size of your email address.

Thanks,

Katie
