After recent System Scan how to view the Quarantined Items on v22.21.11.46 of Internet Sercurity

After a recent 30/01/2022 scheduled system scan, the report card details show 'items quarantined*' to be 26.

How do I view which files have just been quarantined above?

NOTHING ON THE REPORT CARD DETAILS CAN BE SELECTED TO VIEW CONTENTS THEREOF.

Security History:  Quarantine:  Shows only 8 items dated from 20/02/2021 to 27/12/2021

So where or how can I view the above 26 files which have just been quarantined?

Maybe I might want to exclude some of those files from being detected as a virus but if I can't see which ones were detected as virus and then quarantined.

Out of the many programs I have installed it will take a very long time to go through them all to see that they all still work correctly or if a file has now been quarantined/REMOVED; making the program useless; causing me now grief to have it reinstalled.

Hello. This article will give you the steps to view and review quarantined files, without posting a long confusing guide.

Re: After recent System Scan how to view the Quarantined Items on v22.21.11.46 of Internet Sercurity

Your post of the links does not help me. I still don't know where the quarantined files have gone period. If you read my post and viewed the attached photo, you would see that I went to History then checked the Quarantined files. But as you can clearly see the the 26 files that Norton says were Quarantined are no were to be found in the History. So where are they? So I can review them myself.

What are the 26 files as Norton says were quarantined and where, on which hard drive were they taken from.  I have 5 drives with many programs installed.  Which files were Quarantined? How can I find this information out,  Because they did not end up in History.

So far; the way I see it is Norton after doing a scan, removes files from hard drives but does offer me any details as to what was removed/quarantined nor tells me from where.   This program just created what I would consider a cluster [Removed] for I have 5 drives running with many, many files and many installed programs. I need to know which files were removed/quarantined and from where?  Does Norton not created a log of what files it has removed from the hard drives after it has done a scan?   If not this will be my last year using your software.   Now I have to put a stop to automatic, scheduled scanning and will have to do it manually from now on.  CRAPPY SOFTWARE.

Maybe, convicted files were exonerated.  Maybe, Report Card numbers are *Collected from the cache. May not be current.   I don't use Report Card.  I know my comments do not answer your concerns; where or how to review the Items Quarantined* 26

Curious, any clues for the events with Security History More Options?

The Security History - Advanced Details window gives more information about a security event so that you can decide on the action to be taken.

In the Security History window, in the Show drop-down list, select the category to filter the security events by category. For example, select Quarantine to list only the security events that are related to the Quarantine feature.

Double-click an item, or select More Options, to open the Security History Advanced Details or File Insight window.

The Report Card is automatically displayed every 30 days after you install your Norton device security product. The Report Card is a summary of all the activities that your Norton product has performed to protect you in the last 30 days.

fwiw ~ from my Report Card (that I do not use)
where are my 67 downloads? in the last 30 days
67 appears to be December 2021 = 29 + January 2022 = 38

ALL QUARANTINED items must be reviewed one at a time in history as the linked article posted earlier clearly laid out. Select Quarantine in the "SHOW" drop down menu, select an item that was quarantined as shown. In the recommended action area select "MORE OPTIONS". The advanced details dialog will appear next. The actor will be the file and WHERE it was located, the ACTIONS box will show what actions are available for that file. Risk management will also have additional information for you. Below is an example screenshot,  I don't have any items in quarantine so I am using recent history events  as an example:

Re: After recent System Scan how to view the Quarantined Items on v22.21.11.46 of Internet Sercurity

Thank you KUDOS for all your help. Still don't know where the files went nor from which drives, but as a precautionary measure, I now Excluded most of the drives except the C: drive now from being scanned. I should have done this long ago to protect all that is running on them and to make sure when I need to run a program it will still work. Just hoping none of the programs are messed up due to disappearing files. On the second post above where it says "where are my 67 " I would like to how did you get those images showing your downloaded content? Thanks again.
