after running driver updater I have no sound - sys no audio device
Following my initial running of the driver updater I no longer have any sound on my PC. The system says no audio device connected.

If you is on windows 11 and 10 they now ther is a bug but it is difrent bug on difrens system the problem on rolling back driver cant see all old driver is on windows 11 windows 10 you cant roll back at all

In order to be able to help you I would like to ask you to send us your log files executing our Support Tool utility.
The support tool is available under c:\Program Files\Norton\Driver Updater\
Please run the “SupportTool.exe” and follow the instructions. Once it is done, please send me the "FILE ID" here via private message - so we can analyze the logs with your report on our server.

Kenneth the first thing you have to d is get the faulty driver updater programme off your computer or it will just keep causing more problems. It bricked my PC and I had to completely restore Windows to get a working system back. Very unhappy. Good luck.
