Airplane Mode

Ever since I installed Windows 10 my computer just goes into Airplane Mode at random. Also random desktop icons will randomly move or switch places with another. Is anyone else had either of these issues? I have run all scans even NPR. Nothing shows. Sure seems to me something is controlling my machine.  I will be reading an email or an article, I get an notice that I have o internet connection. I look in system tray and WHAM I am in Airplane Mode.

Re: Airplane Mode

Have you checked for available Windows updates?

Have you restarted your computer to ensure any updates have been fully installed? If you use Win 10, an issue with Windows 10 is the Fast Start feature. With this enabled, you may not actually get a full shutdown, which is needed by Norton, and other programs, every once in a while to fully update itself. See this information from TenForums on how to turn off this feature. http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-fast-startup-turn-off-windows-10...

You can also get a full shutdown if you right click on the Start Button and choose Restart from the Shut Down or Sign Out link.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Airplane Mode

Yep. I have tried everything I can think of. Had Norton run through my computer themselves this morn. a they found no reason. Thanks for that idea about doing a full hard reboot. I had that issue with updates in Windows 8.1. I usually just shut mine down completely or a few minutes.
