I'm trying out Norton on a Lenovo Vibe Shot. App blocking does not seem to be working.
Apps on but not work
In the Norton Family app, under "Rules for for this device", you should see a message that says "Your parent can monitor the apps you install" which should list all the apps you have blocked. It is likely that the changes you made on the Family site haven't been updated to your device. In the Norton Family app, can you select Child Mode -> House Rules? This should fetch the latest house rules. Please let me know if this addresses the issue.
house rules don't work for a few days
Thanks for the update. When you said "house rules don't work for a few days", do you mean the child is not being monitored? For example, if the child try to visit a forbidden website, does the child get blocked? If he/she is not blocked, please reinstall Norton Family on the device:
Have you tried surganes's suggestion by selecting Child Mode -> House Rules? What happens? What do you see?

I mean, there is no monitoring.
For example, if the child try to visit a forbidden website, does the child get blocked?
The child cannot visit a banned website, but banned applications are available.
Reinstalling didn't help, house rules on the device minimum
Can you please check if the Apps with Usage Access is turned ON for Norton Family.
This can be found at Android device -> Settings -> Security -> Apps with Usage Access -> Norton Family
This feature was included before. The list of rules on the device are still short.

We just released Norton Family for Android 220.127.116.11, can you please try the update to see if it helps?
Please check the following steps to see if they help.
2. If not, can you please login to Parent Mode (Click on Menu on Left Top to view Parent Mode button) in the child device.
3. In the parent mode, navigate to Settings (Click on Menu on Left Top to view Settings Link) , in Settings, click “Norton Subscription”. Below is a sample screen
4. On the subscription page, if Service is shown as “Norton Family Premier”? If not, click on “Refresh”.
5. Post Refresh, do you see the service shows Norton Family Premier. If so, proceed with step 6, else we need to investigate further.
6. Now, log out of Parent Mode and check if the rules are now visible in the child mode again?

I uninstalled and reinstalled Norton family 3 times already, still doesn't help

Hi. I have same problem, on the children's device the house rules match the rules on the web, but nothing is controlled only the location. All apps and firmware's up to date.

I set the mobile phone according to the instructions from the link, but only thing that changes is that the time limit counts down, but when reaches the limit the device stays unblocked.
