anti track server error -2016

when i try to access anti track i get a message saying server error - 2016 try again later. (see attached screen shot) has been like this for about 5 days now. have uninstalled and reinstalled product but still happens. spoke to support on chat and they said there was a problem at the norton server end? is this correct and if so when will it be fixed or how do i fix the issue if its just me, thanks

Try deleting Anti Track from your PC, reboot, remove the license from my.norton.com and then re-install.

When you say delete does that mean uninstall? Also what do mean remove the licence?

Curious, did you uninstall/reinstall Norton 360 or Norton AntiTrack?
Curious, does Norton 360 LiveUpdate run?
Curious, are you running Norton 360 Secure VPN? 
Have you restarted (not Shut down) machine?

Curious, can you Sign Out => restart (not Shut down) machine => test Sign In

wow - so many questions - here we go

  • Yes I have uninstalled/reinstalled both Norton 360 & Norton AntiTrack
  • yes Norton 360 LiveUpdate runs and appears to update as required
  • yes i have been running Norton 360 Secure VPN (but had to turn it off as it suddenly started to affect my email. I had been using the split tunnel set up for outlook.exe and it had been fine for over 12 months but it unexpectedly started interfering with receiving emails- its the next problem to resolve) it was not on when i have done the recent uninstall / reinstall
  • have done both a shut down and a restart of the PC

I will follow the links supplied to see if i can identify a solution in the meantime

in regard to the question - can you Sign Out => restart (not Shut down) machine => test Sign In - no idea - will test and advise

Hello, Is there a solution to the SERVER ERROR: ERROR CODE: -2016 issue? For two weeks AntiTrack has remained unfunctional. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the product.

Uninstalled Norton 360 and AntiTrack, restarted and reinstalled both products, still receive message SERVER ERROR: ERROR CODE: -2016 TRY AGAIN LATER. Please, is there a solution to this problem?????
