AntiSpam not opening

Greetings all. Curious as to how many entries in the “blocked list” can be entered before it fails to open.ie... edit, add, delete. I spent the most part of a winter’s day adding groups of “spam addresses” via the Outlook plugin, totaling 23,000 addresses. Now when I try to “configure” my blocked list in the Norton program, Norton crashes and will not restart without a reboot. Any ideas???

Hello bigwrench9. Give the instructions in this article a shot, see if it corrects your issue. You can next follow the steps in the screenshot below to run the self-check on your install. It will detect and correct issues it finds.

Thanks for reporting in Norton Community Forums. Please let us know if Norton still crashing when tried to configure” Norton Anti-Spam blocked list? 

Also, could you please provide below details for further investigation? 

- Norton product installed version

- Operating System

- Any relevant screenshots (Upload to forum post under file attachment section) 

- Steps to reproduce issue

- Sent you a private message requesting logs with instructions (Upload compressed log folder under Log files reply comment section)

- Outlook configuration settings (SMTP POP3 or IMAP ) SSL or non SSL. Microsoft Outlook Client version number

- Once above requested details are captured and uploaded please try below steps and let us know the issue status

    -  Disable Norton Anti-Spam client integration in Norton Product and re-enable. Check the issue status
    -  Disable Outlook Norton plugin and enable again. Check the issue status
    -  Disable Outlook from start up restart PC and Check the issue status

First of all, I apologize to soul asylum for not responding back sooner. The self check didn’t find any problems. I ran it several times. In response to Sunil GA, I have sadly been forced to uninstall Norton and return to GDATA. (not to be rude or anything like that, but Norton engineers should really take a look at the GDATA antispam part of their program. It’s very user friendly)
