AntiVirus Won't allow a download to update PDF Creator Software

Attempting to update to PDF Creator 5.1.2 from pdfforge.org website. Antivirus keeps saying Filename: 174560d9-7af9-4d5c-9189-d6b40edf0ff8.tmp has Threat name: PUA.Superfluss and won't allow the download. 

But AntiVirus also reports:

Many Users
Tens of thousands of users in the Norton Community have used this file.

Mature
This file was released 2 months  ago.

Low
This file risk is low.

PDF Creator Support says to contact Norton. Would appreciate any help.

Did you try Exclude (if you fully trust - watch for bundled offer) => Apply All

Configure Exclusions/Low Risks settings

Exclusions / Low Risks options lets you exclude disks, folders, and files from risk and Auto-Protect scans. It provides a way for you to exclude known and safe files or application that are detected as a low-security risk.

Excluding low-risk items from scans reduces your protection and should be used only if you have a specific need.

Configure Norton to exclude low-risk items ›

By default, Norton removes risks automatically. If you want Norton to ignore low-risk items or ask you what to do whenever Norton detects a low-risk item, you can configure Low Risks.

CONFIGURE LOW RISKS OPTION

In the Scans and Risks tab, under Exclusions/Low Risks, in the Low Risks row:

    • To let Norton remove the risk, move the switch to Remove.

    • To let Norton ignore the risk, move the switch to Ignore.

    • To let Norton to ask you to respond to a risk, move the switch to the Ask Me state.

Did you try temporary turn off Download Intelligence

With the setup file saved to Desktop.  
Run File Insight against the setup file (if you fully trust - watch for bundled offer)=>Trust Now

Hello,

First thing first. Thank you bjm_! I went with your first suggestion and that got me over the hump. Of course

I also tried the 'exclude/fix' option at the time and that deleted the download. Went back and shopped the 

'fix' option and upgraded the software like a charm. 

I hold onto your other solutions on case I need them later on. Even the one where you reminded me to watch 

out for and to skip the 'bundle option' that they always throw at you. I also appreciatiate your quick response.
