Any news from Apple for the NTFS filesystem driver fix?

Not sure why this board's older threads are locked, but I couldn't reply in the earlier topic.

I'm up to date with all the Apple software updates, but don't know how to tell if the driver has been fixed in one of the updates.

I'd like to be able to turn Auto Disk Scan back on, for full anti-virus protection, but don't want it to lock up my system if the driver hasn't been fixed yet.

Unfortunately we are under non-disclosure with Apple regarding future updates/fixes. Apple has acknowledged this is an issue in the NTFS drivers with Snow Leopard, and it has been reported by others, but I can't discuss anything further on this unfortunately due to Apple's NDA policy.

You are free to contact Apple yourself about this issue.
