I just received a notification to restart Norton 360 to install the updates. So after updating I saw changes to the UI but don't see any new features at all. Just some minor updates here and there for macOS users as usual, while Windows users continue to see new features in so many updates. Why are we paying so much to protect our Macs when the features available to us are nothing compared to Windows?

Pretty disappointing update.....I cannot believe that Norton has still not updated to run this software native on the M series processors. Still running Intel binaries under Rosetta emulation. Most other anti virus vendors have updated to native M series binaries long ago. It does make you wonder about Norton's commitement to the Mac platform.

If they were a responsible company, they would have posted information about the new version before rolling out to all the users. Looks like they are not as they have done in the past too. Soon? After rolling out the version to all/most of the users, really? Norton has really gone down hill most likely because of the worst management team!!

@VineRider it's not only about M1. Just look at the features of Norton 360 for Mac vs Windows and the updates which continue to add features to Windows version but we are paying premium price for basic protection!! I have been using Norton for more than 20 years, I still have around 2 years of subscription left then I am moving to other protections for Mac. I am just tired of their feature freeze for macOS!!

Totally agree @shellcoder - I've been a Norton Windows user for decades as well. The way they are ignoring the Mac and also just the lack of any kind of responsiveness on their forums or providing updates does make you wonder.

What's new? Updated UI and fixes, as usual and no new features. When was the last time we saw a significant new feature? Why are we paying a premium price for this feature freeze product?

The recent updates of Norton 360 for Windows are also disappointing. The newly-added features are useless and irrelevant, and just make Norton bloatware. Nothing new in terms of protection updates that many yearn for (for example, integration with Avira's APC).
