AOL AND NORTON

Hello,

I am currently using Norton from Comcast. And so far it has treated my computer very well.

I am a fan of AOL and use it a lot. The Norton software that I currently using covers my computer and if I am I.E.8 it also covers my email. Here is the problem. If I am on AOL (9.6 version) when email comes to that account it is not protected Norton.

I was told about a year ago, that Norton was looking into this.

Does anyone know if they had made any progress in it?

Thank you!

If you mean messages that arrive in your online webmail account, then no, they cannot be scanned because they reside on an AOL server rather than your computer.  When you download the messages to your email client on your machine they are scanned.  Any attachment that you open will also automatically be scanned by Auto-Protect.
