Re: App Usage Access Setting

Hi bigkahuna,

Thanks for the inquiry.  Norton Family currently doesn't support Kindle fire devices.  Please check out the link below for details.

Re: App Usage Access Setting

Hello Katie,

will you support Kindle fire devices in the near future?

I am testing Norton Family and selected it because of running on several platforms like Windows and Android. It would be a big reason to take your abonnement if it would work also on Amazon's Fire Tablets.

Marcus

Re: App Usage Access Setting

Hi kloestersm,

I'll report your inquiry and request to the Norton Family team.  I'm sorry I don't think we will support Kindle fire devices in the near future.

Thanks

Re: App Usage Access Setting

I have successfully installed Norton Family in both my children's kindles. The "app usage setting" can be found by going to Settings > Security > Device Administrators. Then all you have to do is click on the Norton Family check box and click "activate". You do have to install Google Play first, which will void the warranty of your kindle. Hope that helps. I switched to Norton Family over kindle parental controls because both my 8 and 10 year old children could hack their fires and play past their bedtime. They can't do that with Norton Family.
