AppIdentityCA has stopped working

I started seeing this error message in a pop-up window a few days ago, after I start Windows. This is happening on both my Windows 7 & Windows 8 computers. Does anyone know what it means (besides the obvious, that is)? Is it something I should be concerned about? What is AppIdentityCA anyway?

Thank you for posting on the Norton Community. This issue has been resolved. Please manually update to the latest version Norton Security 126.96.36.199, and let us know if this issue recurs. Thanks.
