Application Monitor not active

Norton Mobile Security Version 4.0.0.4024 is installed on my Android cell phone; all features of Norton except Application Monitor are active. Whenever I open Norton Mobile I see the warning that Google Play Application Monitor needs to be activated; when I proceed to Application Monitor, I notice that it is already on. What I do is to turn it off and on again, which lasts for some time, then I start seeing the same message that Application Monitor needs to be turned on. Today I went through the same way to turn it on, but there was no way to start it; I can no longer turn the Application Monitor on, it is stuck. I would appreciate anyone's advice how to get it running again.

Re: Application Monitor not active

Do you have the paid version activated? If not, the App Monitor is disabled.

Re: Application Monitor not active

I have the paid version, which is the fourth software in my account of Norton Security DeLuxe, I have already paid renewal fee automatically and received confirmation of payment and renewal from Norton; the renewal date is January 20th, 2018.

Re: Application Monitor not active

Since Norton Mobile is listed in my Norton Security DeLuxe Account I assumed that the same automatic renewal fee would cover all products, three of which are PCs. Or do I have to renew my subscription to Norton Mobile separately? It is still active on my Android phone.

Re: Application Monitor not active

Your Norton Security Deluxe does cover your Norton Mobile Security, NMS, for you mobile devices.

When you tap the 3 bars at the top left of the NMS screen, do you see the number of days remaining on your subscription, or do you see a Sign In button? If it says Sign In, your full version has been disabled for some reason. Tap Sign In and sign into your Norton Account again. Then test.

If that does not help, try going into the Norton Mobile Security, NMS app settings. Tap on the 3 bars at the top left of the NMS screen and tap on Settings. Scroll down to the Anti Theft section and turn off the Device Administrator setting.  Now go to Android Settings - Apps. Scroll to the NMS app and clear the app cache and app Data. Restart the device and turn the Device Administrator setting back on. This will reset your NMS to a trial version. To get the full version back, open the NMS app, tap on the 3 bars at the top left, then tap Sign In. Enter your Norton Account information and you should have the full version again.

Then test to see if things work properly.
