Application Vulnerability scanner

Are there any plans to include, or provide seperately, a Norton vulnerability scanner to flag installed applications that need upgrading due to major vulnerability issues? Avira, Kaspersky and I think even McAfee provide one. I'm asking because a great tool Secunia PSI is being discontinued next month and I know many people are looking for alternatives. There are some dedicated tools such as SuMo and Patch My PC but I'd prefer Norton to take care of such important things. I know the intrustion prevention and exploit protection can help to a significant extent, but are there plans to go the whole way on this?
