Are Norton developers sleeping?

Just updated NS Deluxe to 22.8 hoping that they would have already fixed issues with Chrome. Wasn't surprised, it still doesn't fill up the forms. I have to manually copy my password from the toolbar to login. It's been more than a month I sent those Norton log files to Gayathri and still no solution? Go to neowin.net and monitor the CPU usage with toolbar disabled/enabled. Huge CPU spike issue is still present. There are issues with other sites too. It's been so many months and those damn developers are having hard times fixing their own crappy code. I have no further plan to renew subscription with this company anymore. Looks like they no longer have quality assurance department and hire some crappy coders.

I had opened these threads on September 5: https://community.norton.com/en/comment/7156831 and June 29: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/chrome-100-cpu complaining about CPU spike caused by Norton toolbar and even after ages, they can't fix their own code

Re: Are Norton developers sleeping?

Just found out the reason why Norton ID safe won't auto fill logins on Chrome. If you have configured Microsoft EMET on Chrome then enabling DEP prevents Chrome form auto filling forms. If I disable DEP from it then auto fill works. I never had this issue before 22.7. But however that CPU spike bug is Norton's fault.

Hello

Thanks for sharing with us how you got auto-filling to work for you. Perhaps it will be useful for others if they want to try it.

Thanks.
