AT&T Website Is Working Now

The original thread, att.com login quit working with ID Safe, has since been closed/locked. 60 days have passed since it's last post. I wanted to update the login issue(s) since December 2012.

 

Those of us who posted to the original thread, were having the same or similar issues. ID Safe would only fill in the username, but not the password when trying to auto-login to the site. Even after deleting the login info from ID Safe, then re-entering details for a different AT&T login page, the issue remained the same.

 

Most of us who posted used the 'Report Issue' feature. I don't know about the other users who posted, but logging into AT&T yesterday, I was once again auto-logged in all the way .. username and password both.

 

I don't know if it was Symantec or AT&T that fixed the login problem. If Symantec, then a gratitude of Thanks from me. 

 

Feedback would be good from other AT&T customers, to hear if their login issues were either fixed, or if they had any issues to begin with.

AT&T is a major website just like others for paying your bill and managing your account. That being said, they do have a habit of overhauling their site quite often. Unlike other major websites for paying bills and managing accounts, when AT&T redesigns theirs, you can forget about logging in for awhile with your credentials.

 

Other websites that do major overhauls, rarely does it affect logging in with your credentials. AT&T has always been this way.

 

I don't know if there is any way of knowing that Symantec fixed the problem, but if they did, then the 'Report Issue' feature does work, at least sometimes

HI Ed Norton kind of fixed one of two sign in problems as the one that I use has this URL  https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute?pId=L_View_Bill_Passthru&source=EACQM0btn00LOG00E and it does not fill in the password but if I use this URL it does fill in both sigh in fields  https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute?fromdlom=true  I do agree that in general AT&T is a pain to deal with. Note the first URL is a link from the bill that I receive by email If you receive your at&t bill this way it is a different URL.

Thanks for the feedback. I receive notifications by email when the bill is ready, although after many years I already know when it's ready. Confirmation emails after payment is made.

 

Your 2nd URL is the one I use with ID Safe. Opening that link in a new tab filled in both fields at the site. I have to go to the site via my own ID Safe, to be auto-logged in fully, without having to click the Log In button.

 

I am glad they fixed the issue. Thanks again for your input.

AT&T Website

 

The issue of the password field not being filled by ID Safe/Vault, lasted from about November 2012 to early March 2013.

 

The issue I feel has been solved. I was able to login to the site this month, with both sign-in fields, (including password), being filled by ID Safe/Vault. This is confirmed by another post in this thread.

 

Other AT&T users are free to add to this thread, confirming if their login issues were either solved or not solved.

 

With that, I will mark the AT&T login password issue as Solved.
