Attachments being removed from emails

Since installing Norton, whenever I send an email with an attachment it removes the attachment from the email - email is received just nothing attached. 

I have Norton AntiVirus Plus for Mac.

I contacted help and they said to turn off Application Blocking in the Firewall - it was already off.

Any suggestions as I send a lot of attachments...well, I used too before Norton!
