Mobile Password Manager does not login in Apps although in the settings the possibility "Autofill Apps" is confirmed. Also in the accessibility of my tablet!

Re: Autofill Apps in mobile Password Manager

The App autofill does not just work with any app. Norton has to set up each individual app so that would work with this feature.

With what app(s) are you trying to use this feature?

EDIT

Here is an older post I made that listed the, then, current list of apps that support the app autofill option.   https://community.norton.com/en/comment/7536171#comment-7536171

EDIT #2

I also just went back over my posts and found that as of last November (2018), the feature was only working on Android 6 and 7. Changes in Android 8 and 9 seem to have messed up the feature. Norton was working on it. I'll see if I can get an update on this.

Re: Autofill Apps in mobile Password Manager

I tried it with Card Complete (Visa), Skoobe and my Bank Elba. I saw the list but there is not so much on it. I thought it has changed because of the app and his recent update. I expect of a  Password Manager for  Android, what just exist of apps, that an autofill for apps is normal. But now I see that it I am thinking wrong.   Thank you very much

Sorry wenn I make spelling mistakes. I am from Austria

Autofill of the Chase app does not work in Android v9 (I think it was working in v8).

I have Android Vs 7 Nougat. It is the latest update of the Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2. I want to Subscribe to Norton Security and with the Norton Tools on every device have the same tools. Norton  Password Manager on Windows is ok, so synchronised  with my tablet and phone would be great. But I think when the Android version is not working I have to choose an other PWM. Thanks anyway

It is not that the NPM is not working. It works fine for the web site logins, which was the main use of the app before the app login feature was added. I'm trying to get an updated list of supported apps, as well as some method of suggesting new apps to be added.

What device are you using? The latest version of the Samsung Android 9 OS has caused some other issues with Norton products. Waiting for an update from Samsung to deal with these issues.

Hello, I have Android Vs 7 Nougat. It is the latest update of the Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2 SM-819. I want to Subscribe to Norton Security and with the Norton Tools on every device have the same tools. Norton  Password Manager on Windows is working ok, so synchronised  with my tablet and phone would be great. This is the first time I used the NPM.

@kaytesp

Another user has seen this issue with Chase logins. Maybe you can post in this thread. I have already asked a Norton employee to follow up on this.

@Sieske

Are you saying that the NPM on your mobile device does not sync with the vault on your PC? You can force a resync by opening the NPM app and logging into your vault. Then tap on Logins, then drag down on the screen to force the sync with your online vault.

Re: Autofill Apps in mobile Password Manager

No, I think I write that wrong because off my bad Englisch. It synchronised perfect with the URL logins. My big problem is that it not login in the Android apps. I have three devices and want an automatic login for the apps. Many thanks for your help and informing Norton.
