Automatic Care does not work in Norton Utilities Premium

Automatic Care does not work in NUP.. The task has to be done manually. It has a long period remaining. i have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton 360 and Norton Utilities Premium  but the problem remains. Norton Chat are useless. You are pushed to the back of the queue again and again if they do not like the question. I am sure this issue is connected to NU Ultimate that Norton are pushing. This offer is blasted accross the Norton 360 menu. My account appears stuck in the Norton Server and needs an expert to fix. I am running Windows 11 and this has no issues. I am sorry but I have lost confidience in Norton. Peraps it is time to look for another provifer?

Re: Automatic Care does not work in Norton Utilities Premium

In your other thread here, you did not answer my question about if the issue with Automatic Care started around the time of the upgrade to Win 11. You just mention that Win 11 has no issues and other software seems to be working correctly.  This information is going to be helpful for Norton if it is an interaction of Norton with Win 11.

Re: Automatic Care does not work in Norton Utilities Premium

Automatic Care worked in Windows 10. When i upgraded to Windows 11 Automatic Care completed okay but ONCE only. The History in NUP confirmed Manual and ONE Automatic Care. I have made no changes to Windows 11 the only changes were by the usual Window Update Service. I am surprised there are no other users that experience this problem. At the moment i do the function manually. I have Automatic Care set for 3 hours and left the computer switched on but Automatic Care does not start

When I first noticed the offer for NUU there was no indication re price. You had to buy before this was revealed. I stopped the process before it completed

Sometimes settings just get muddled. Especially after an OS update. Try changing the schedule for the Automatic Care to any other settings. Then restart your computer and then set it back where you want and test.

Re: Automatic Care does not work in Norton Utilities Premium

I have tried the suggested solution but this did not work. There are no issues with any other program in Windows 11 only Automatic Care in Norton Utilities Premium. When working this was a great feature. I will have to continue the task manually

If you want to try to get this working as it was designed, it may be time to uninstall NUP, restart computer, and log into Norton Account and reinstall NUP.   Unfortunately, it would not be the first time that a software package needed to be reinstalled after a Windows upgrade.
