automatic sign out of identity safe

I am automatically signed out of Norton Identity after a specific amount (unknown) of time and must sign back in each time. I am constantly switching between use of my computer and other tasks and since no one else has access to my computer I would like to change this default timing. Can I even do so and if so how ?

Re: automatic sign out of identity safe

The new versions of the ID Safe extensions do not allow for any manual control of the login timeouts. Norton has had many, many suggestions to add this feature to a future version.

Re: automatic sign out of identity safe

This is far from an 'Accepted Solution".  The issue is an absolute irritant.  I go into settings and check the empty box against Identity Safe but this does not hold.  Same with the Dashboard option - I turn 'Off' into 'On' but nothing changes.

Perhaps they can get onto the 'future version' NOW rather than in 'the future'?

Re: automatic sign out of identity safe

It is an accepted solution in that it answered the question that was asked. That the vault does not work the way most of us would like does not change that.

If you are seeing a problem with the ID Safe feature not staying on in your product, please start a new thread and we can deal with that there.
