Automatic TraceRoute and WhoIs search

When Norton 360 asks, "The computer "fe80::e8f3:64ff:fecd:f1d311 is attempting to access sharingd on your computer. Do you want to allow this connection?"  It would be extremely helpful if Norton 360 would automatically perform a TraceRoute and WhoIs lookup.  Or, dump the address into MacOS's Network Utility.  Having a TraceRoute and WhoIs gives me the information I need to answer the question.
