backup connection failure

I've downloaded Norton onto a new PC with windows 10. My subscription expires May 2018 and security is fine, but got a message saying my backup subscription has expired and when I try to set up backup I get a message saying "failed to activate your cloud storage". What am I doing wrong? I can access backup to download files, but cannot save any to the cloud.

Did the backup ever work on this new PC?

From the affected PC, open Norton and click Support - Subscription Status.That should sync your system with the Norton Servers.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.

No, that didn't work. No worries, Norton can go hang, I get BTCloud for free so that's what I'll use from now on.
